Why have recently developed red streaks in my belly?
I am 19, and the mini pill. I'm 5'6 and weighs 180 lbs. (I am too fat .. I have lymphedema in my leg that weighs several pounds.) I am physically very fit and active, however, during the last two months I realized that these red streaks on the abdomen, however, all lines other people in my body (chest and inside thighs) are pale white. Recently, I saw my vascular doctor as I feared it might be a problem with the vein, but said he thought I just won a few pounds and "do not know." If they are fatty streaks, Why are red, when all the others I had in my life are white? Could have something to do with my BC pill?
I do not know if you have something to do with the pill, but it is quite is natural and should not be worried. You're only 19 and believe it or not, you can still get stretch marks, your body changes and the color does not matter if you've gained some weight, it is normal that the grooves. If you want a color fade to Goldy, who are less visible, you use bio oil, cocoa butter or oil vitamin E on them. Good luck. =)
